About The Position

The Laundry Attendant is responsible for maintaining a determined supply of clothing for the department. This includes washing and sorting all department clothing, as well as farm contract clothing. The role also involves discarding torn clothing and replacing it with new clothing as needed, stocking employee lockers with appropriate clothing, and maintaining cleanliness of crew areas during wash cycles. The attendant will also be responsible for drying and folding clothing and performing other duties as determined by the manager.

Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted
• Good communication and organizational skills
• Must be able to work well alone and in teams
• Detail-oriented and self-motivated

Responsibilities

• Maintain a determined supply of clothing for department
• Wash and sort all department clothing
• Wash and sort farm contract clothing
• Discard torn clothing and replace it with new clothing as needed
• Stock employee lockers with appropriate clothing
• Sweep, mop, and disinfect crew areas during wash cycles
• Dry and fold clothing as needed
• Other duties as determined by manager
