About The Position

The Laundry Attendant provides linen delivery and pickup services for the Housekeeping Department while maintaining Omni standards and exceeding guest expectations. The role operates laundry equipment, processes and distributes linen and specialty items, supports stocking guest supplies and amenities, and keeps the department clean, organized, and compliant with safety and sanitization regulations.

Requirements

Clearly and pleasantly communicate in English with guests, management, and coworkers, in person and by two-way radio.
Be able to multitask in a busy environment, follow through on guest and manager requests, and work as a team player.
Be detail-oriented, friendly, approachable, and maintain high standards for cleanliness and organization.
Stand or walk for extended periods or an entire work shift.
Frequently bend, reach overhead, and squat.
Lift, carry, and place objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance and up to 100 pounds with assistance.
Push and pull objects weighing up to 75 pounds without assistance.
Push and pull fully stocked housekeeping supply carts and carts full of linens.
Work around a variety of chemicals and respond to hazardous situations.
Work a flexible schedule, specifically evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Nice To Haves

Environmental services experience, preferably in hotel housekeeping.

Responsibilities

Pick up dirty linen from Housekeeping Service Landings and deliver it to the laundry.
Collect clean linen from the laundry and distribute it to service landings.
Assist with stocking guest supplies and amenities.
Report maintenance concerns to managers and/or supervisors.
Ensure linen is clean and tidy at all times.
Complete additional duties assigned by managers and/or supervisors.
Operate washers, dryers, ironers, and towel folders.
Stack clean items in laundry bins or trucks for delivery to guest room floors or Food & Beverage areas.
Operate smaller washers and dryers to process specialty items or guest requests.
Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the department.
Follow safety and sanitization regulations as instructed by OSHA and Omni Hotels & Resorts.
