You have specific responsibilities within these areas and are expected to understand them. Receives, washes, dries, irons or otherwise prepares for delivery all dirty linen, towels, rugs and bedspreads sent to Jackson Lake Lodge laundry, according to established procedures. Laundry workers fill specific job positions on a rotating basis, such as Dryer Operator, Shaker Sorter, Ironer, Feeder and Catcher, load, unload dryers, etc.

Requirements

Prior laundry experience desirable
Good judgment, manual dexterity.
Indoor/Outdoor: Indoor
Hazardous Materials/Noise: Cleaning Chemical and products
Equipment Used in Job: Laundry machines
Holidays/Weekends/Evenings: Required based on business need

You are responsible for working in a safe and healthy manner.
You must be knowledgeable of the company’s work safe policies and procedures.
You must be committed to working in partnership with the National Park Service and community organizations to enhance our guests’ experiences.

Responsibilities

Places wet towels, rugs, bedspreads in dryer, then sorts and folds when dry.
Separates clean linen and prepare material for the flatwork ironer.
Attends the flatwork ironer and feeds prepared work in, or catches, folds, and stacks work on the receiving side.
Presses uniforms and other items as needed.
Other duties as assigned.
