About The Position

The Laundry Attendant is responsible for cleaning, drying, and folding linens, towels, and uniforms while maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation. This role operates commercial laundry equipment, inspects items for quality, and ensures all resort laundry is processed efficiently to support guest rooms, dining outlets, and other departments. The Laundry Attendant helps maintain a clean, organized laundry facility while upholding luxury hospitality and Forbes service standards.

Requirements

Ability to communicate fluently in English.
Maintain appropriate grooming standards according to organizational policy.
Able to lift 30 pounds.
Must be able to work flexible hours including nights, holidays and weekends.

Nice To Haves

Valid driver's license preferred.

Responsibilities

Ensuring that various uniforms and articles of clothing are dry cleaned properly.
Daily operation of a dry-cleaning press in addition to other types of machinery.
Ensuring that the dry-cleaning equipment is running smoothly.
Operating different types of heavy machinery, including a dry-cleaning press on a daily basis.
Memorizing a variety of chemicals that are utilized in the dry-cleaning process.
Fulfilling the dry-cleaning needs of the resort as well as its guests.
Other Job duties assigned.
