About The Position
The Sacramento Holiday Inn is seeking a part-time Laundry Attendant to join their team. This role is crucial in ensuring the cleanliness and presentation of hotel linens and supporting the overall housekeeping operations. The position offers a starting compensation of $23.05 per hour, with the potential for variation based on experience, skills, qualifications, and location. Requirements
- Laundry or cleaning experience preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Detail-oriented mindset
- Physically capable – Able to lift 50 lbs and stay on your feet moving throughout your shift.
- Flexible availability – Mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays
Responsibilities
- Sort laundry by color, fabric, and level of "what happened here?" to ensure proper cleaning.
- Operate commercial washers, dryers, and pressing equipment.
- Fold, press, and organize linen.
- Maintain laundry carts and closets with the right supplies—neatly and efficiently.
- Support general housekeeping by keeping public areas tidy and jumping in where needed.
