In this role, you will be responsible for sorting, washing, folding and distributing all linens, towels, napkins and tablecloths. Requirements

General laundry or housekeeping knowledge involving at least 1 year preferred
Hotel/Resort experience preferred
A leadership style rooted in collaboration, respect, and service to others.
Exerting up to 50 pounds of force frequently and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects

Responsibilities

Understand operation of washing machines, dryers, presses, folding machines, etc.
Wash and dry all linens, towels, rags, inventory needed for resort
Sort all hotel linen according to type, color, size, etc
Operate iron as per standard and ensure that it is shut off at the end of the shift.
Maintain clean work area. Sweep and mop laundry floors, storing all linens off the floor and in designated areas on a daily basis
Clean dryer filter daily and maintain all equipment as trained
