About The Position
The Laundry Attendant is responsible for sorting and cleaning laundry, operating commercial laundry equipment, and maintaining laundry areas. This role also supports general housekeeping duties to ensure a clean and welcoming environment for guests.
Requirements
- Laundry or cleaning experience preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Detail-oriented mindset.
- Physically capable of lifting 50 lbs and staying on feet moving throughout the shift.
- Flexible availability, including mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
Responsibilities
- Sort laundry by color, fabric, and level of soiling to ensure proper cleaning.
- Operate commercial washers, dryers, and pressing equipment.
- Fold, press, and organize linen neatly and efficiently.
- Maintain laundry carts and closets with the right supplies, ensuring they are neat and efficient.
- Support general housekeeping by keeping public areas tidy and assisting where needed.
