Requirements

Ability to operate washing machines, dryers, and other laundry equipment.
Attention to detail for quality control and sorting laundry.
Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask.
Physical stamina to stand, bend, and lift heavy loads for extended periods.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
Prior experience in laundry services or similar roles (preferred).

Responsibilities

Sort, wash, dry, and fold linens, towels, uniforms, and other laundry items.
Use industrial washers and dryers, ensuring proper settings for various types of fabric.
Maintain a clean and organized laundry area.
Keep track of laundry inventory, ensuring proper levels of clean linens and supplies.
Report any damages, stains, or missing items to the supervisor.
Inspect laundry for stains, damage, or other issues, and ensure proper treatment or repairs.
Ensure laundry meets the cleanliness and quality standards of the facility.
Operate laundry equipment safely and efficiently, following all operational guidelines.
Notify the supervisor of any equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs.
If working in Cabins or similar setting, interact with guests to provide extra linens, or other departments.
Adhere to health and safety regulations, including safe handling of chemicals and detergents.
Ensure all laundry items are properly sanitized, especially in healthcare settings.
Work as part of the housekeeping or cabin team to ensure timely turnaround of clean laundry.
Assist with special cleaning or laundry requests as needed.
Assist with stripping cabins when needed and picking up linen at camp and cabins
