Requirements

High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience
Basic computer skills; Microsoft Office experience preferred
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Knowledge of proper cleaning procedures and equipment usage
Understanding of safe chemical handling practices

Nice To Haves

Previous laundry or housekeeping experience
Experience working in a hotel or hospitality environment
Ability to work independently while maintaining attention to detail

Responsibilities

Sort linens, towels, uniforms, and other laundry items by color, size, and fabric type
Operate commercial washers, dryers, folding equipment, and pressing machines
Fold, press, package, and prepare clean laundry for use throughout the hotel
Follow proper sanitization and laundry processing procedures
Load and unload commercial laundry equipment safely and efficiently
Maintain adequate supplies of detergent, bleach, fabric softener, laundry bags, and other essentials
Keep laundry areas clean, organized, and fully operational
Assist with stocking storage rooms and linen areas
Distribute linens to designated hotel departments
Deliver guest-requested items such as towels, cribs, and rollaway beds as needed
Maintain positive guest interactions and confidentiality
Respond professionally to guest concerns and requests
Support hotel operations by maintaining clean and readily available linens at all times
