About The Position

The Laundry Attendant is responsible for sorting, weighing, washing, drying, ironing, folding, and stocking guest room and Food & Beverage linen. This role requires knowledge of equipment operating functions and the ability to report any damage, hazards, or defective equipment to a supervisor. The attendant will utilize chemicals for washing, controlling quantities as recommended by the supplier and approved by the Executive Housekeeper. Other duties may be assigned, and all Material Safety Data Sheet documents and management company Safety Standards must be followed.

Requirements

High work ethic and self-initiative
Ability to work in a standard hotel environment.
Frequent fine motor skills, use of hands and fingers
Required to stand, walk, bend, reach, or carry items.
Ability to lift and/or move 10–25 pounds as needed
Visual ability to read from a computer screen and printed materials including close visual focus for extended periods and color differentiation (for certain roles).
Ability to hear and participate in conversations and meetings, use phone and/or headset
