About The Position
The Laundry Attendant ensures the cleanliness, quality, and availability of all hotel linens, terry, and uniforms by safely operating laundry equipment and supporting the Housekeeping Department in accordance with Hyatt House brand standards and S3 Hotel Group expectations.
Requirements
- Stand for extended periods.
- Lift up to 30 lbs. and push carts up to 100 lbs.
- Work safely in warm or humid laundry environments.
Responsibilities
- Wash, dry, fold, press, and process hotel linens, towels, and uniforms according to Hyatt House standards.
- Sort linens by fabric type, color, and soil level before processing.
- Load and unload washers and dryers following proper weight limits.
- Treat stains using approved chemicals and safe handling procedures.
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe laundry work areas.
- Stock clean linens for Housekeeping and other hotel departments.
- Maintain production logs and report equipment issues promptly.
- Follow Hyatt House safety standards, chemical handling procedures, and S3 Hotel Group policies.
- Assist Housekeeping with linen inventory and other operational needs.
- Perform other duties assigned to support hotel operations.
