About The Position

Responsible for washing, drying and storage of hotel and banquet linens. Pay Range: $24.39-$27.10/hour.

Requirements

• Must have ability to communicate effectively with all levels of Team Members, guests, and outside contacts
• Work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Move around all work areas effectively and efficiently
• Work long hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Required to stand for an extended time
• Attendants must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. of laundry and push heavy carts without assistance.
• Ability to reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel and crouch.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Attend required training sessions offered by the casino
• Obtain required licenses
• Perform the duties described in compliance with local laws and regulations
• Responsible for taking the necessary steps to ensure minors are not allowed to gamble or loiter in gambling areas, drink alcoholic beverages, or purchase tobacco
• Knowledge of the ordinances, regulations, laws, policies, and procedures relating to the Team Member’s department
• Adhere to Internal Control Procedures and Policies
• Report illegal activity to Security or the appropriate levels of Management

Nice To Haves

• Previous casino-industry experience is not required, but a friendly, positive attitude is.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for daily washing and drying of hotel and banquet linens
• Ironing and steaming of items may be required
• Responsible for neatly fold laundry and distribute it according to company requirements
• Conduct general maintenance and upkeep of the machines, which includes cleaning machine filters
• Maintain safe working area by sweeping and mopping floors periodically
• Coordinate duties with other hotel staff
