About The Position

The Redondo Beach Hotel, a Tapestry Collection by Hilton, is looking for a dynamic Laundry Attendant to join the team! The Laundry Attendant is responsible for washing, drying, folding of hotel linen.

Requirements

• Maintain a friendly, cheerful and courteous demeanor at all times, while providing personalized service to hotel guests.
• Communicate effectively with guests and fellow team members.
• Provide assistance to other team members and departments to contribute to the best overall performance of the department and hotel.

Responsibilities

• Sort linens for washing.
• Check for stains and treat appropriately.
• Wash, dry, fold linen.
• Run linen and deliver as requested.
• Store linen in appropriate location.
• Maintain assigned work area in a clean and safe condition.
• Report any missing/found articles or damage to the housekeeping supervisor.
• Assist with room attendant duties as needed.
• Maintain a friendly, cheerful and courteous demeanor at all times, while providing personalized service to hotel guests.
• Communicate effectively with guests and fellow team members.
• Provide assistance to other team members and departments to contribute to the best overall performance of the department and hotel.
• Perform other duties as assigned, requested or deemed necessary by management. Management retains the discretion to add or change the duties of the position at any time
