About The Position

This role is responsible for ensuring that athletic team laundry is completed in a timely and thorough manner on a near-daily basis. The attendant will wash, dry, and fold uniforms and linens according to supervisor instructions and manufacturer guidelines. Key duties include maintaining the cleanliness of the workspace, establishing a dependable work schedule, reporting equipment malfunctions, and communicating supply needs to a supervisor.

• Must be enrolled as an NCC student.

Responsibilities

• Properly wash, dry, and fold uniforms and linens as established by the supervisor, adhering to manufacturer cleaning and care instructions.
• Ensure that the laundering of uniforms and linens are completed in a timely manner.
• Maintain cleanliness of the surrounding workspace, including cleaning lint traps, sweeping floors, and disposing of refuse.
• Establish a dependable work schedule based on attendance and punctuality.
• Report any malfunctioning equipment such as washers or dryers.
• Maintain an adequate amount of supplies by communicating inventory to a supervisor.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
