About The Position
Sorts, folds and stacks laundry. Loads and unloads washer and dryer; weighs and records poundage. Responsible for following instructions and carrying out assignments properly. Supportive of the Village’s mission, values, and service/hospitality (PRIDE) expectations. Completes training hours as required by policy.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
- Ability to communicate using simple sentences, paragraphs and correspondence.
- Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's.
- Knowledge of basic measurements in inches, feet, yards, ounces and pounds.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one- or two-step instructions.
Nice To Haves
- Will be required to work as a Housekeeping Associate when needed and directed by manager
