About The Position

Hospital Sisters Health System (HSHS) is seeking a Laundry Associate I to join their team. This role involves loading and unloading clean and soiled laundry delivery carts, sorting, ironing, and folding laundry by hand or machine, and sorting soiled linen. The position is part of the Centralized Laundry Services department and falls under Support Services. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 6:00 am to 2:30 pm, totaling 40 hours per week.

Requirements

High School Diploma is preferred.
GED or vocational training may be considered in lieu of High School diploma.
Experience not necessary, but preferred.

Responsibilities

Loads and unloads both clean and soiled laundry delivery carts.
Sorts, irons, and folds by hand or machine as required.
Sorts soiled linen.
Sorts, irons, spreads and folds by hand and machine.
