About The Position

CW is seeking a dependable and hardworking Laundry Assemblers & Laundry Delivery Drivers to support our commercial laundry operations. This hybrid role includes transporting linens and supplies between facilities or customer locations, as well as assembling, folding, and preparing laundry items for delivery.

Requirements

• No prior Laundry experience required — we provide full training.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience operating a commercial delivery vehicle in a laundry, warehouse, or production environment.
• Minimum of 1–2 years of experience driving a 26‑foot box truck or similar commercial vehicle.
• Understanding of safe driving practices and basic vehicle operation.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Valid CT Medical Certificate required for all Delivery Driver positions.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload carts, bags, or bins of laundry at customer sites and company facilities.
• Assemble, fold, and Sort incoming laundry by customer, fabric type, color, and cleaning requirements.
• Identify special‑care items and ensure proper handling.
• Fold, stack, and assemble garments, linens, and specialty items to company standards.
• Inspect linens for stains, tears, or defects prior to assembly or delivery.
• Accurately match items to customer accounts, package orders neatly, and prepare them for delivery.
• Follow all safety procedures, sanitation guidelines, and company policies.
• Assist with general production tasks as needed to support workflow.
• Safely operate a company vehicle to pick up and deliver linens, garments, and supplies.
• Operate a company vehicle safely to complete scheduled pickups and deliveries.
• Provide friendly, professional service at every stop; answer basic customer questions.
• Use handheld devices or route sheets to track completed stops, signatures, and special notes.
• Perform basic vehicle checks (fuel, tire pressure, cleanliness) and report maintenance needs.
• Maintain accurate delivery logs, route sheets, and documentation.
