About The Position
Responsible for providing clean linens and towels for use within the facility. Shall also be responsible for the washing, drying, labeling, ironing, and delivering of the resident’s personal laundry.

- Observance of safety procedures including universal precautions as required
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the cleanliness of the equipment in the laundry room such as washing machines, dryers, and sinks
- Responsible for the cleanliness and orderliness of the laundry room, clean and soiled linen rooms and resident wing linen rooms.
- Observance of safety procedures including universal precautions as required
- Sorting and presoaking laundry for washing
- Washing, drying, ironing, labeling, folding, hanging and putting away/delivery of all laundry
- Operating washing machine and measuring dispensing chemical supplies in the machine as direct
- Operating clothes dryer and removing lint from the filtering unit
- Folding linens and storage of linens in the clean linen room in an organized manner
- Stocking and organizing of the clean linen closet in each resident wing
- Returning all resident clothing to their closet or drawer as required
