About The Position
St. James House is accepting applications for a full-time laundry aide, rotating schedule- 12 hours shifts. The laundry worker will wash and dry linen and residents' clothes. He/She will see that all clean linen is returned to the linen storage area as quickly as possible. He/She will see that residents' clothes are promptly returned to the owners, are properly identified and report losses and damages of residents' laundry. It is his/her duty to remove lint from tumblers and clean laundry. He/She maintains an inventory of linens and laundry supplies.
