About The Position
Quantum Rehabilitation and Nursing located in Middle Island, NY is looking for a Full-time Laundry Aide. This position offers union benefits and operates on a 5-day per week schedule, from 8 AM to 4 PM. The Laundry & Linen Aide is responsible for collecting, processing, laundering, and delivering linens to resident rooms.
Requirements
- Ability to lift 50 pounds.
Responsibilities
- Collect, process, launder and deliver linens to resident rooms.
- Wash, dry, pack and label all linens/resident clothing.
- Fold clean linens/resident clothing after washing and drying.
- Keep on record of all linen/resident clothing on a daily basis.
- Clean the washing machine and dryers on a daily basis.
