This role is essential in providing residents with clean, well-maintained linens and clothing , ensuring their comfort and hygiene. Success in this position requires reliability, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment .

Requirements

• Demonstrates strong attention to detail to ensure laundry is properly cleaned and organized.
• Is reliable, punctual, and able to multitask in a busy environment.
• Maintains a positive and cooperative attitude when working with residents, families, and staff.
• Understands the importance of cleanliness and infection control in a healthcare setting.

Responsibilities

• Wash & Dry Laundry : Utilize both household and industrial laundry equipment to clean resident and facility linens and clothing.
• Fold & Organize Linens : Fold and stack linen neatly, ensuring proper storage and distribution.
• Deliver Clean Linens : Ensure linens and laundry are delivered promptly to resident rooms and facility areas.
• Maintain Cleanliness : Keep laundry areas and equipment clean and in good working condition.
• Handle Chemicals Safely : Use approved laundry detergents and chemicals according to safety guidelines.
• Assist Residents : Deliver clothing directly to residents' rooms and ensure items are handled with care .
