Carillon Senior Living is recruiting for a hospitality focused Laundry Associate to join our team! This position is responsible for performing laundry functions throughout the community. Requirements
- Hospitality focused and team oriented
- Must have effective communication skills, both oral and written.
- Must maintain resident confidentiality at all times.
- Must have an understanding of general cleaning practices.
- Must be able to complete required duties within time allowed.
- Have the ability to understand and follow instructions in English and communicate effectively.
- Have at least a 9th grade education.
Responsibilities
- Collects, cleans and redistributes the Community laundry.
- Collect and transfer laundry to and from appropriate facility.
- Separate and clean laundry according to care instructions.
- Attends in-service training and education sessions, as assigned.
- Accomplishes all work in the order of priority set by supervisor.
- Dry laundry according to care instructions.
- Ensures that all Health Center laundry is properly sorted, washed, and dried according to State and Federal regulations.
- Ensures that the laundry is maintained in a clean, orderly and sanitary condition.
- Maintains all equipment and supplies in proper condition.
- Performs specific work duties and responsibilities as assigned by supervisor.
