About The Position

The Laundry Aide will interact with residents in a friendly manner, providing meaningful attention. This role involves handling hazardous cleaning supplies according to proper procedures and ensuring accurate labeling. The Laundry Aide must work in a safe manner and bring any unsafe actions to the attention of the Executive Director. Fostering teamwork with co-workers, showing initiative in overcoming obstacles, taking actions that assist others beyond job responsibilities, and having a positive impact on co-workers, residents, and visitors are key aspects of this position.

Requirements

• Compassion for and desire to work with seniors!
• High School Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED) required.
• Ability to complete cleaning tasks in a timely, effective, and efficient manner.
• Must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug test.
