About The Position
As a Laundry Aide, you will play a vital role in ensuring our residents have clean, fresh linens and personal clothing. Your attention to detail and commitment to quality help create a comfortable and welcoming environment for those in our care.
Requirements
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the shift
- Reliable attendance and positive attitude
Nice To Haves
- Previous laundry, housekeeping, hospitality, or healthcare experience preferred but not required
Responsibilities
- Collect, sort, wash, dry, fold, and distribute resident laundry and facility linens
- Operate laundry equipment safely and efficiently
- Follow infection control and safety procedures
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry department
- Label and properly handle resident clothing and personal items
- Report equipment issues or supply needs to management
- Provide excellent customer service to residents and staff
