We are a 5-Star, Deficiency Free, Homelike Care Community. The Wisconsin Veterans Home at Chippewa Falls provides compassionate and professional long-term, skilled nursing care to veterans and spouses who cannot be cared for in their homes.
Requirements
- Attention to detail with a passion for maintaining high cleanliness standards.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in housekeeping or environmental services (preferred).
Responsibilities
- Collect, sort, and pre-treat soiled linens towels, gowns, and other laundry items according to established protocols and infection control guidelines.
- Efficiently operate washers, dryers, and related machinery while adhering to manufacturer instructions and safety procedures.
- Apply appropriate stain removal techniques and monitor the quality of laundered items to ensure they meet facility standards.
- Accurately fold, organize, and store clean linens, ensuring they are properly distributed to designated departments and areas within the facility.
