About The Position
We are seeking a reliable Laundry Aide to assist with coverage for weekends, holidays, vacations, and staff time-off requests. This important role helps ensure our residents have clean, comfortable linens and clothing every day. Requirements
- Previous laundry, housekeeping, or healthcare experience is a plus
- Ability to effectively understand and communicate verbally and in writing, in English, is required.
- Basic computer skills
Responsibilities
- Wash, dry, fold, and distribute resident laundry and facility linens
- Operate commercial laundry equipment safely and efficiently
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry area
- Follow infection control and safety procedures
- Assist with labeling and tracking resident clothing as needed
