About The Position

A kind and caring family of five on the Upper East Side is seeking a part-time laundress for their home. The schedule is one day per week for approximately six hours, with flexibility about which day. The main focus is washing, ironing, steaming, and pressing laundry.

Requirements

• Previous experience working as a laundress.
• Be legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Handle all laundry for the family, including bedding, towels, and adults’ and children’s clothing.
• Machine wash and dry items.
• Hand wash items.
• Steam laundry.

• Maintain wardrobes when required.
