About The Position

Cherokee Classical Academy seeks a full-time 7th Grade Latin Teacher for the 2026–2027 school year at its Cherokee County campus in Canton, Georgia. The teacher is responsible for educating students, demonstrating high moral character, and mastering the subject taught. The role reports to the Lower School Dean of Academics and works collaboratively to create a safe, secure, and respectful learning environment. Instruction follows the Hillsdale scope and sequence and the school’s classical curriculum and pedagogy, with a focus on grammatical mastery, vocabulary development, translation, and connections to English and Western civilization. The position is full-time and benefits-eligible. Applicants should submit a letter of introduction, a CV or résumé, contact information for three character references, and—for faculty roles—a 300–500-word statement of educational philosophy.
