About The Position

Reich Tool & Design is a family-owned job shop specializing in aerospace, defense, medical, and advanced manufacturing work. They are looking for a CNC Lathe Specialist for their 2nd shift. This role offers variety in complex parts and a team-oriented environment. Machinists work with advanced equipment in a clean, climate-controlled facility.

Requirements

• 3+ years of CNC machining lathe experience in a job shop environment
• Strong math, blueprint reading, and communication skills
• Ability to multitask and run multiple machines
• Journeyman’s card in CNC and/or Toolmaking
• CAD/CAM knowledge
• Must be a U.S. citizen

Responsibilities

• Set up, adjust, and operate horizontal lathes and vertical mills
• Perform bar feeder, live tooling, and rotary axis setups
• Adjust speeds, feeds, tooling, and machining sequences
• Load tools, indicate parts, and set work coordinates
• Machine parts per print while holding close tolerances
• Read blueprints and GD&T specifications
• Use precision measuring instruments to inspect parts
• Run multiple machines and complete production documentation
• Support LEAN, 5S, ISO 9001-2015, and ISO 13485 initiatives
