2nd Shift Lathe Operator
About The Position
UTRS Advanced Manufacturing (UTRS AM) is seeking a 2nd Shift Lathe Operator to join their team. UTRS AM fosters a collaborative environment with close-knit team members and provides a wide range of leading-edge engineering, management, and digital services to public and private sectors. The company is looking for an individual to support their mission of consistently delivering creative, high-quality, technology-based services to customers on time and within budget. This position is responsible for keeping lathe machines operational during the 2nd shift and is located at 19 Just Rd in Fairfield, NJ 07004. The role will be a key member of the Lathe Department.
Requirements
- 1 - 3 years’ experience in CNC machining
- Blueprint reading, GD&T
- Basic bench-top inspection
- Must be US Citizen
Responsibilities
- Operating CNC lathes (Doosan Lynx 220, LSYC, Haas TL1).
- Perform in-process quality inspection
- Basic shop responsibilities – cleaning machine at end of shift, organizing workstation.
