About The Position

Full Time positions for Lathe/Mill Setup Operators. This role involves overseeing and coordinating machining operations, troubleshooting issues, and operating CNC machinery. The operator will be responsible for precise tool offset settings, planning machining processes, and performing routine maintenance.

Requirements

Must have mathematical skills for calculating set-up requirements, including basic math, geometry and trigonometry.
Able to read and understand Engineering drawings/blueprints.
Must be familiar with G-Code machine language.
Good communication skills both written and verbal.
Previous experience in plant operations or other related fields.
Familiarity with plant tools and equipment.
Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills.
Ability to oversee physical workload.
3, 4 & 5 axis CNC Horizontal setup.
Knowledge of FANUC controls.
Functional and Technical skills.
Read and edit programs.
Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in CNC mill machining

Responsibilities

Oversee and coordinate machining operations and activities.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues in a timely fashion.
Load and unload equipment and materials.
Setup/operate CNC FANUC control.
Precise setting of all tool offsets.
Set up and operate machines with little supervision.
Plan machining process, study work orders, drawings, materials, specifications, and machine capabilities.
Interpret geometric dimensions and tolerances (GD&T) and read drawings.
Conduct routine preventive maintenance on machines.
