About The Position

Denny's is seeking a Late-Night Server to join their Front of House (FOH) team. In this role, you will be responsible for welcoming guests, providing attentive service, taking and delivering orders accurately, and processing payments efficiently. You will also play a key role in upselling menu items, making recommendations, and encouraging guests to join the Denny's Rewards Program. Collaboration with both FOH and Back of House (BOH) team members is essential for ensuring smooth service. Requirements

• Experience as a Server, Waiter, Waitress, FOH Staff, or in customer service preferred
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Confidence in upselling, menu recommendations, and guest engagement
• Basic math and cash-handling skills
• Must be 18+

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests and provide attentive service throughout their visit
• Take orders accurately and relay them clearly to the kitchen
• Deliver food and beverages promptly and correctly
• Use upselling skills to recommend specials, combos, and popular menu items
• Ask guiding questions to help guests make selections
• Offer confident menu recommendations based on guest preferences
• Invite guests to join the Denny’s Rewards Program, explaining benefits
• Maintain a clean, organized dining room
• Process payments efficiently (cash, card, digital)
• Work collaboratively with FOH and BOH team members to ensure smooth service
