This role involves ensuring the cleanliness and hygiene of the work area, tabletops, floors, and food and bar equipment according to casino standards. The cleaner will perform detailed cleaning of heavy kitchen equipment, scheduled preventive maintenance cleaning, and maintain a clean, sanitary, safe, and organized work environment in compliance with health and safety regulations. Responsibilities also include ensuring proper care and cleaning of heavy equipment, floor drains, vent-a-hoods, trash areas, and dock areas, understanding the use of proper chemicals (MSDS), and maintaining knowledge of sanitation, dishwashing, maintenance, and safety standards. The role also includes cleaning walls and ceiling tiles, mopping and sweeping kitchen and service areas, removing trash, and performing other assigned duties.
