About The Position

Visioneering, Inc. is seeking a Laser Tracker Operator for a direct hire position in Auburn Hills. This role involves applying labor hours to jobs, executing build support or QA functions, and maintaining Laser Tracker equipment. The operator will be responsible for understanding job requirements, populating inspection records, and initiating tool tags as needed. This position requires adherence to QMS procedures, OSHA safety guidelines, and ITAR compliance.

Requirements

Ability to work independently with written and verbal direction.
Good problem solving skills.
Intermediate use of MS Office programs.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Good understanding of GD&T / FT&A.
Master blueprint reading skills.
Verisurf software experience.
3 years tooling experience.
3 years QA experience.
High School Diploma or equivalent.
U.S. citizenship or Valid Permanent Resident status is required.

Responsibilities

Applying of labor hours to applicable jobs being worked via the Labor Ticket entry process.
Reading and understanding general job requirements as supplied in the QA job folder by the Lead Inspector.
Execution of required Build support or QA function as dictated by the job lineup, TIR and quality plan.
Population of the TIR (Tool Inspection Record) or equivalent customer provided document.
Initiation of any tool tag as a resulting from the inspection activity (In Process or Non-conformance).
Assist Lead Inspectors, as necessary, with any customer buy-off effort.
Maintaining Laser Tracker equipment utilized to perform job duties.
Utilization of the Document and Data control procedure to initiate, maintain and complete all electronic inspection records.
Conformance to all applicable QMS procedures and work instructions.
Follow OSHA safety guidelines, and ITAR compliance.
Other duties as assigned.
