About The Position

The Laser Specialist position is responsible for troubleshooting laser machines in the fabrication department. This role involves setup, programming, and collaboration with the maintenance lead and equipment vendors/technicians. The specialist will also travel for training on new equipment purchases, train operators on equipment, and work with the Supervisor to determine labor and processes needed to meet daily production rates. Responsibilities include facilitating setup, maintaining spreadsheets, and ensuring machine instructions are followed. Proficiency in all auto-nesting programs is required.

Requirements

High School Diploma or Equivalent
Proficient on all laser-based equipment
Good math skills
Proficient in Excel & Word
Willing to travel for training on new equipment
Proficient in auto nesting programs
Self-motivated and able to work with vendors, outfitters and leadership in a professional manner
