About The Position

Diamond Mowers is seeking a qualified, self-starter Laser/Plasma Table operator to enhance our second shift (M-Th., 4:30 p.m. to 3 a.m.) production team through skilled processes and problem-solving techniques. At Diamond, you’ll be able to use your laser table operating skills, attention to detail and ability to read prints to create results.

Requirements

High School diploma or GED, or technical school degree and/or 2 years equivalent work experience on a laser table helpful. Will train.
Problem solver, with the ability to correct issues and the ability to meet deadlines.
Solid understanding of math skills to understand complex instructions.
Proven attention to detail to understand the laser table operations, how to increase output and how to fix errors.
Keen attention to detail with the ability to work with precision equipment to prevent critical errors by being off by millimeters
Ability to be crossed-trained to other machining as needed.

Responsibilities

Producing high quality parts from metal using a state-of-the art laser table and brake presses.
Reading prints for the product, making adjustments to the machine to control speed, material feed and path to make the cuts accurately.
Ensuring the machine is set up properly with the correct tooling, working well and producing a quality product.
Ensuring machine is working at full capacity, stocked with needed materials, well-maintained
Performing checks on output
Inspecting the finished product so that it is defect-free and ready for the next step of production on time.
Maintaining Company’s commitment to customer service, excellence, teamwork and accountability.
Collaborating with talented people from other departments.
Ensuring efficiencies improved throughout the laser process.
