About The Position

The Laser Operator is responsible for loading the proper material and programs into the machine and to ensure that the machine is cutting properly while ensuring all procedures and company policies are being followed. This role operates on a Friday-Sunday 4:30 AM - 3 PM shift, where employees work 36 hours but get paid for 40 hours with differential. Training will be provided on first shift (Monday-Thursday 5:30 AM - 4 PM with mandatory overtime when applicable) until objectives are met.

Requirements

• Forklift experience
• At least two years of general manufacturing/production experience required

Nice To Haves

• Laser operating experience is preferred

Responsibilities

• Loading the proper material and programs into the machine
• Ensuring the machine is cutting properly
• Ensuring all procedures and company policies are being followed
• Follow machine schedule objectives given by supervisor to ensure production goals are met each day
• Set-up and inspect part in each cell
• Troubleshoot automation errors both mechanical and program related
• Perform minor repairs and preventative maintenance as necessary
• Work in material handling software as well as WIP and raw material locations
