About The Position

This role involves operating a CO2 laser and/or Fiber Laser to produce parts according to specifications. The operator will be responsible for setting up the equipment, reading work orders and blueprints, troubleshooting issues, inspecting parts, and accurately reporting production quantities in the ERP system. Requirements

• Ability to read alpha and numeric work orders and part orders.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and drawings.
• Comfortable working with various gauges of stainless steel.
• Ability to use Vernier’s, angle protractors, and other measuring equipment.
• Great people and communication skills.

Nice To Haves

• Completion of high school, or equivalent experience.
• 1+ years experience with Lasers and/or Punches.

Responsibilities

• Layout, set up, and operate a CO2 laser and/or Fiber Laser.
• Read specifications or follow verbal instructions.
• Troubleshoot and perform corrective action.
• Check products for correct shapes, dimensions and other specifications.
• Accurately / honestly and in a timely manner reports all manufactured quantities for both good parts and scrap parts for each work order in the ERP System.
