The Company serves a diverse commercial and military customer base from its Global EMI Shielding Technology Center located in Tampa, Florida. Every detail of the company’s one-of-a-kind manufacturing facility is tailor-engineered to streamline and improve customer service, engineering, and manufacturing processes. The Laser Operator is responsible for the daily operation of the laser machines, including moving necessary materials to and from the machine.

  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • One to three years of experience desired in a manufacturing environment.
  • Any equivalent combination of education and experience determined to be acceptable by management.

Responsibilities

  • Performs quality checks
  • Complete inspection reports for jobs ran on machine.
  • Must be able to perform, but not limited to, the following tasks: read blueprints, calipers, micrometers, and other measuring equipment
  • Detects and reports defective materials or questionable conditions to the department supervisor.
  • Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follows all safety regulations.
  • Performs typical laser operations.
  • Troubleshooting quality issues
  • As a member of the Quality Management System, quality procedures, requirements, work instructions, and other required documentation must be followed. Team members are responsible to be aware of the company’s quality policy and quality objectives in order to support the continuous improvement projects and contribute to the overall mission of the organization.
