About The Position

This role focuses on developing, optimizing, and standardizing inspection and metrology processes within a manufacturing environment. The engineer will be responsible for the operation, maintenance, and improvement of Automated Optical Inspection (AOI) and Flying Probe inspection systems. Key responsibilities include managing equipment maintenance, analyzing inspection data to improve yield, investigating quality issues, and collaborating with vendors and internal teams to resolve technical challenges. The position also involves evaluating and implementing new inspection technologies, conducting Design of Experiments (DOE) to optimize processes, and participating in cross-organizational teams for root cause analysis and failure investigation. The role requires operating processes according to customer specifications, standardizing recipes, establishing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and performing statistical process control.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in Korean communication is required.
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in an engineering-related field (Preferred: Electrical Engineering; Other relevant majors include Physics, Electrical Engineering, Optical Engineering, Materials Science & Engineering, or related disciplines).
  • Willingness to work overtime, night shifts, and weekends as required.
  • Ability and willingness to travel domestically and internationally, including travel to Korea.
  • Effective organizational, interpersonal, and strong communication skills.
  • Analytical thinking by data science and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiar with semiconductor/Substrate integration processes.
  • Hands-on experience with E-Test (Electrical Testing) processes and equipment is required (for experienced candidates).

  • Experience in semiconductor, PCB, Glass Substrate, display, or related advanced manufacturing industries.
  • 1-year experience in Semiconductor, PWB, OSAT preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, optimize, and standardize inspection and metrology processes.
  • Operate, maintain, and improve AOI (Automated Optical Inspection) and Flying Probe inspection processes.
  • Manage preventive maintenance and troubleshooting of inspection and metrology equipment.
  • Analyze inspection data and support yield improvement initiatives.

  • Evaluate and support the implementation of new inspection and metrology technologies.

  • Operate process management based on customer specification.
  • Support standardization of recipes and establish SOPs through concrete engineering.
