About The Position
Build your career with G&W Products in Fairfield, OH. We are looking for a reliable, detail-oriented Laser Assistant Operator to support our 3rd shift laser team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work, takes pride in quality, and wants to grow in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. As a Laser Assistant Operator, you will help Laser Operators with daily production tasks and the finishing of laser-cut products. This includes examining, sorting, grinding, moving, and preparing parts to support quality and production goals.
Requirements
- A strong focus on safety, quality, and accuracy
- Ability to follow instructions and work well in a production environment
- Comfort using hand tools, pneumatic tools, and power tools
Nice To Haves
- Sheet metal experience preferred
- Fork truck experience a plus
Responsibilities
- Perform part dressing and grinding as needed
- Remove material skeletons and finished parts
- Verify product quantities and dimensions
- Check that products are correctly tagged
- Transfer parts to designated areas
- Use pneumatic and power tools safely and efficiently
