About The Position

This is a paid apprenticeship position focused on learning the care of large animals, including feeding, cleaning, treatment, and preventive medicine. The role involves daily production tasks and maintaining the animal areas of the facility. The objective is to learn to balance production and animal care to provide consistent, high-quality products and services with accurate documentation, with the goal of gaining ALAT certification and PA Journey Worker credential.

Requirements

• No experience required.
• High School Diploma or GED
• A valid driver's license in good standing for a minimum of 3 years
• Must be able to work rotating holidays and weekends
• Must be a team player

Nice To Haves

• Gain ALAT certification
• Gain PA Journey Worker credential

Responsibilities

• Animal care AM/PM daily
• Complete daily production which may include injections, bleeding, milking etc.
• Maintain animal living areas
• Document findings and job completions in the required logs
