About The Position

This paid apprenticeship program focuses on learning the care of large animals, including feeding, cleaning, treatment, and preventive medicine. The role involves daily production tasks and maintaining the animal areas of the facility. The objective is to learn to balance production and animal care at Lampire, providing consistent, high-quality products and services with accurate documentation. The program aims to help apprentices gain ALAT certification and a PA Journey Worker credential.

Requirements

  • No experience required. All training for apprenticeships will be provided by Lampire Biological Labs.
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • A valid driver's license in good standing for a minimum of 3 years
  • Must be able to work rotating holidays and weekends
  • Must be a team player

Responsibilities

  • Animal care AM/PM daily
  • Complete daily production which may include injections, bleeding, milking etc.
  • Maintain animal living areas
  • Document findings and job completions in the required logs
