The Flooring Merchandiser is responsible for driving product presentation and in-store execution to maximize sales and customer satisfaction in large partner accounts. This role ensures flooring products (carpet, hardwood, laminate, vinyl, tile, and accessories) are properly displayed, stocked, and aligned with company standards and sales strategies.

Requirements

2+ years of merchandising or retail experience (flooring or home improvement preferred)
Ability to lift and move flooring samples and display materials (up to 50 lbs)
Frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Ability to travel between store locations as needed

Nice To Haves

Strong understanding of flooring products and installation basics is a plus

Responsibilities

Maintain visually appealing and organized flooring displays across retail locations
Ensure all product samples, racks, and signage are current, clean, and accurately labeled
Partner with sales teams to support promotions, product launches, and merchandising strategies
Analyze sales trends and recommend adjustments to product placement and assortment
Conduct regular store visits and audits to ensure compliance with merchandising standards
Coordinate with Territory Managers on sample updates and new product introductions
