About The Position

AoPS Academy is seeking passionate Language Arts Instructors to inspire young minds in an engaging, collaborative classroom setting. This part-time role involves teaching elementary, middle school, or high school level Language Arts classes for the 2026-2027 academic year. The instructor will utilize company-created curriculum designed for advanced students, lead small classes (up to 16 students), and foster a love for learning and critical thinking. Responsibilities include managing the classroom, grading, providing feedback on tests, and building relationships with students and families.

Requirements

A Bachelor’s degree is required.
Strong content knowledge in reading, writing, and/or grammar.
Experience teaching or tutoring students.
Must be legally authorized to work in the US.
Candidates must be located in Frisco, TX or the greater DFW area and must be able to commute to our campus.
Candidates must be available to teach during weekday after-school hours (as early as 4:15pm) and/or on weekends.
Minimum initial commitment of about 3 hours per week for each assigned class.

Nice To Haves

A Bachelor’s degree in education or a humanities field is strongly preferred.
Classroom teaching experience at the K-12 level is preferred.
