Lane Closure Technician's (LCT's) - Kamloops
About The Position
ATS Traffic is looking for motivated team members to join our growing team. This role involves conducting traffic control in urban areas, construction sites, and at major events such as music festivals and sporting events. The Lane Closure Technician is responsible for implementing Traffic Management Plans, setting up signage and cones, and safely closing and reopening lanes. This involves designing and executing safe lane closures and traffic detours through the physical setup and removal of traffic control devices, including barricades, cones, signage, and digital message boards. The role requires working outdoors in all types of weather and is a safety-sensitive position.
Requirements
- A valid Class 5 driver’s license and 3-year clean driving abstract.
- Ability to undergo and pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol screening.
- Ability to successfully pass a Fit Test including lifting up to 50 pounds.
- A minimum of 6 months of experience as an LCT.
- TCP/LCT Certificate.
