About The Position

U.S. Facilities, Inc., a consolidated facility management service company, is seeking an LCAMS Analyst who is responsible for monitoring, evaluating data integrity, and overall, Lane Closure administration for VDOT’s Hampton Roads Harbor Tunnels and Moveable Bridges. This is to be accomplished on a routine basis as outlined in the following responsibilities.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Thorough operating knowledge of all MSOffice products/Excel
  • Capable of working in a fast-paced environment
  • Experienced in and/or knowledgeable of traffic monitoring and traffic control systems
  • Familiarity with Hampton Roads Interstates and local roadways
  • Often working independently and self-supervised
  • Deadline oriented
  • Employee-to-employee interaction and fact finding
  • Heavy telephone and computer usage
  • Employee-to-employee interaction and fact finding
  • Valid driver’s license is required.
  • DMV records check is required.
  • Pre-employment drug screen is required.
  • Fingerprint-based Criminal History Records Check is required.
  • 18 years of age or older
  • Virginia State Driver’s License in good standing

  • May be asked to work evenings/weekends for special projects

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and upkeep of the Lane Closure Advisory Management System (LCAMS) and all of its contents for the Tunnels and Moveable Bridges
  • Research and manipulation of statistical data streams to produce reports and analysis of metrics related to LCAMS
  • Review lane closure submittments for compliance with VDOT Eastern Region Limitation of Operations
  • Monitor planned events for work zone conflicts and advise submitters of potential conflicts and facilitate resolutions
  • Liaise with VDOT personnel and contractors as required
  • Train and assist all users of the LCAMS
  • Advise VDOT Public Affairs staff as required
  • Create and submit internal Work Orders for equipment failures or malfunctions
  • Support the HMMS Program Administrator for tasks to include, but not limited to; filing of paperwork and reviewing of outstanding work orders
  • Any other duties assigned by a supervisor and/or USF Senior Project Manager.
