About The Position

Little League International is seeking Landscaping Interns for the Summer of 2027. This internship offers a hands-on learning experience to enhance college classroom education by assisting in the beautification and maintenance of the Little League complex. The intern will work with the Landscaper on various landscaping tasks, contributing to the overall aesthetic of the 72-acre facility which hosts numerous events and tournaments.

Requirements

• Working toward an associate's or undergraduate degree in Landscaping, Horticulture, or a related field.
• Excellent work ethic.
• General knowledge of different types of plant material including flowers, annuals, and perennial plants.
• General knowledge of operating and maintaining equipment pertaining to landscaping.
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to lift at least 25 pounds.
• Frequent bending, stooping, and lifting.
• Must pass a criminal background check.
• Must be able to work in adverse weather conditions, including extreme heat.
• Flexible work schedule including holidays, evenings, and weekends, as needed.

Nice To Haves

• Previous landscaping and gardening experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist in caring for lawns, shrubs, annuals, and perennials.
• Perform tasks such as mowing, pruning, trimming, and planting.
• Engage in landscape installation.
• Undertake other general landscaping functions.

Benefits

• 35 hours per week
