About The Position

U S Lawns of Roanoke is seeking a motivated and skilled individual to join our team as an Enhancement Crew Leader. As a full-time hourly Technician/Skilled Labor/Contractor in the franchise industry, you will be responsible for leading a team of enhancement technicians and ensuring the successful completion of various enhancement projects for our clients. This individual contributor role is based in Roanoke, Virginia and offers a competitive compensation of $16 to $20 per hour, paid weekly.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 1 year experience in landscape enhancement or related field
• Strong understanding of landscaping techniques and principles
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Basic knowledge of equipment and tools used in landscaping and irrigation repairs
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and lift up to 50 pounds
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Must pass pre-employment background check and drug screening

• Prior experience leading a team preferred

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of enhancement technicians in completing various projects, including garden bed maintenance, lawn aerations, mulching, and irrigation repairs
• Assign tasks and delegate responsibilities to team members
• Train and coach team members to ensure quality work and adherence to safety protocols
• Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and expectations for each project
• Monitor and maintain inventory of necessary equipment, tools, and supplies for enhancement projects
• Complete required documentation and reports for each project
• Comply with all company policies, procedures, and safety regulations
• Perform other related duties as assigned by management
