About The Position
North County Landscape Co. has proudly served Whatcom County since 2003. We are a professional, full-service landscape company specializing in landscape maintenance, lawn maintenance, irrigation, landscape installations, and enhancement projects. We're looking for an experienced Landscaping Crew Lead to lead a crew while delivering high-quality residential and commercial landscape services.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of landscape or lawn maintenance leadership experience
- Experience operating landscape equipment
- Knowledge of pruning and plant care
- Valid Washington Driver's License with an insurable driving record
- Reliable, positive leader with strong work ethic
- Ability to lift up to 60 lbs. and perform physical outdoor work
- Must be 18 years or older
Responsibilities
- Lead and motivate a crew of 2–4 employees
- Perform landscape maintenance including pruning, hedging, weeding, edging, leaf clean-up, and blowing
- Complete enhancement work including bark installation, gravel spreading, planting, and seasonal landscape improvements
- Ensure work meets company quality, safety, and productivity standards
- Operate landscape equipment and train crew members on proper techniques
- Report equipment issues and assist with daily clean-up
